Went to Pulau Ubin to cycle with MJ the other day. It feels pretty good to get all dirty and injured sometimes. It’s that kind of “pain makes you feel real” feeling… The rain came and go quickly so the weather was still reasonably good. While all the scenery there looked somewhat the same, there’re still some good sightseeing spots if you bothered to look hard enough. Ultimately, it’s all about perspectives.
Had cocount juice to quench our thirst and nice old lady offered us rambutans which we kindly declined.

First kite flying experience with MJ at Farmway!
The first attempt of getting SuperDoraemon up the air was a shocking one… because SuperDoraemon was up in the air but the string snapped and the wind actually carried the kite TOWARDS the LRT station… THANKFULLY there was no train at that time and luckily this random guy on the platform who was looking at us fly SuperDoraemon the whole time caught it well… We thought we were quite a distance away from the station already but powerful wind came untimely at the wrong direction and the knot wasn’t tight enough…
Still, it was a pretty fun experience despite the really shocking first attempt. We were the only ones who made noise in the open field… It seemed like the other experienced kite flyers there have passed through the excitement stage already, although not the fun of flying yet. Anyhow, it’s a fun-filled day of sweat, rope burns and muddy grounds!
